The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is a rigorous college preparatory course of study for highly motivated high school students. The program features a comprehensive curriculum that contains both breadth and depth in its focus. The IB program of studies provides students of various linguistic, cultural and educational backgrounds with the intellectual, social, critical thinking skills, and perspective necessary for the adult world.

IB Credits at Georgia public colleges
In an effort to further encourage students to earn the IB Diploma, the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia awards up to 24 hours of college credit for the IB Diploma. For a full description, see section 4.2.1.6 of the Board of Regent’s policy manual.  IB students also earn extra quality points for IB courses in their HOPE scholarship GPA calculation.

The PDP/IB Faculty is extremely excited about this school year and look forward to encouraging you to reach your goals.

Whether you are joining us for the first time or have been with us for a number of years, we encourage you to become an active member of ARC.  In addition to an excellent academic foundation, we offer many activities, clubs, and sports to help students fulfill their CAS and  EE responsibilities in efforts to become well-rounded, mature young adults.

Best of luck to a successful and rewarding school year!!  ~ Mr. Tudor
